Established in 2007, the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal is the newest law journal at Texas Tech University School of Law. The only student-led publication of its kind in the nation, the Journal publishes scholarly articles written by national and international experts in the fields of estate planning, community property, and related legal topics. The Journal also publishes outstanding student comments. The Journal boasts two premier legal scholars as faculty advisors, Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law Gerry W. Beyer and Professor Michael Hatfield.
